No matter if it’s your first pregnancy, your second, or third, feeling anxious about labor and delivery is normal! Childbirth education classes can help moms-to-be feel more confident about giving birth. Think of them as a coach giving you a pregame pep-talk or taking a prep course for an exam. They can help you feel more prepared, empowered, and most importantly… ready.
At Burdett Birth Center, our Mothers in the Middle program helps make this possible. Think of this as an open house. We’re opening our doors to moms-to-be and their families. You’ll have the opportunity to meet doctors, midwives and lactation consultants and tour our facility. It’s an informal, intimate setting that gives you the opportunity to get to know us and for us to get to know you.
You’re invited join us at our Mothers in the Middle program. This free program is offered quarterly on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Dates for 2019 are as follows:
- Wednesday, February 13, 2019
- Wednesday, May 8, 2019
- Wednesday August 14, 2019

You do not need to register for this program in advance. Join us in the Pattison Board Room at Samaritan Hospital. There will be a panel discussion and a tour of Burdett Birth Center immediately afterwards.
